Just came back from the filming at Royal Plaza Hotel @ Scotts Road. It was a nice experience I must say! All the worries of my three pimples showing on national tv were saved by something. Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, the Estee Lauder concealer! lol.
Anyway, got there ard 11 plus, I was early by about an hour cause my friend drove me down, not because I gian png wanna go there early to eat ok.. It's at this cafe/restaurant called Carousel. The film crew were already filming when I was there, they were interviewing this CEO guy who was the one who introduced that place supposedly. They're a friendly bunch of people I must say, all the fears of a grumpy producer and such were diminished.. lol..
Sad to say, I didn't take any pictures there at all! Lol.. damn paiseh la imagine taking pictures there and everything. Well the variety of food, ambience of the place, taste of the food and service was great I must say!
One dish that I emphasized on during the commentary part was the Beef Rump. FREAKING HELL IT'S SUCCULENT LIKE FUCK I MUST SAY! Lose to the feeling of an orgasm by a little bit only lor! The dessert was great as well! They have all these little cakes/puddings in shot glasses, which make it all the more colourful and appealing! Tried the mango pudding and apricot pudding, freaking nice.. they have all these tiny grated almond/peanuts at the bottom which make it all the more nicer!
One item that wasn't that nice though was the chocolate fondue.. not exactly as great as I would have liked it to be. =\
Anyway the show will be aired on Channel 8 on the 2nd of October, 8pm! It's called Buffet Buffet! Do catch it to see me talk like a cock on TV! :D
