I miss the days when I would just rush to the court for my daily soccer game, being a teenager with no worries. Studies ain't one of it for me at that point of time. All I looked forward to in school was the soccer games.
I miss the days when everyone would just chill out together with no intentions to backstab one another or snatch the girlfriends of other so called buddies. People get evil as they get older. Treat it as self protection, but that sucks.
I miss the days when I would just look forward to Wednesdays. Everyone would be hyped up and waiting for night time, when every close friend will head to Zouk for Mambo Jumbo. Mambo just ain't the same anymore.
I miss the days when granny would bring me to the market to shop for groceries and she'll give me $2 to play the Nintendo for an hour there while she goes to do her shopping. Granny would then bring me to breakfast. My favourite prawn noodles cooked by the Ah Pek. The taste still lingers. :)
I miss the days when I would wake up with someone beside me. Then I would just give her a hug and then go for my weekend soccer matches with the dudes. After the match I'll go back and buy breakfast on the way and we would just eat together. Then we will just slack the day away watching DVDs or go out to chill.
I miss the days when I will just take my mousepad and mouse, going from LAN shop to LAN shop to play Counterstrike clan matches like a geek. The adrenalin rush from those matches are gone. I wish I could get them more often, instead of just getting them from my the real 'counterstrike' I get in camp.
I miss the days when girls were much more simpler. Love forever in the past seems easier compared to now. No players, no money talk. All that matters is we're happy. :)
I want to be happy. I don't want to sound emotional and shit. However, people disappoint. Time to place myself above all first.
